Musix Pro sets itself apart from other music apps by offering a wide range of octaves, scales, keys, chords, and modes without limiting your creativity. It supports multiple built-in instruments and works smoothly with existing synthesizers as a controller through OSC and Core/Virtual MIDI.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Musix Pro is key agnostic, which means that once you have learned a musical pattern (such as a chord or a scale), that pattern applies to all keys, including the dreaded A-Flat! Sharps and flats automatically appear in the correct positions thanks to the mathematical magic of isomorphism. By playing melodies on Musix Pro and observing where the sharps and flats go, you can learn to play them on a traditional keyboard.

Songwriters benefit from discovering new melodies and musical relationships, while novices find it easy to learn how to play. Experienced musicians will appreciate the intuitive interface. Keys can be resized to fit your style - starting with "epic"-sized keys, and as you improve, you can shrink the keys to fill the screen with notes.

Isomorphic keyboards can be found on traditional and modern instruments, such as concertinas, accordions, "jammers," Janko keyboards, harmonic-table devices, and more. Musix Pro is the only app that provides access to all isomorphic note arrangements in one powerful customizable application.

Musix Pro comes with a set of built-in layouts, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The harmonic table layout allows you to play any major chord by touching three hexes with one finger. Wicki-Hayden makes modulating between pentatonic scales effortless. Experiment with the different layouts to find the one that works best for you.

You can also customize the color of notes in your layout. Whether you prefer a piano-style coloring with white and black notes or want to color notes based on scales or modes like D-flat Mixolydian, Musix Pro gives you the flexibility to personalize your musical experience.
